BlackBerry PlayBook Scrapbook app creates and shares fun photo collages (video)

At Mobile World Congress, RIM continues to showcase the upcoming BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. Today, it's shared video footage of a very slick photo editing tool called Scrapbook. The app was developed by The Astonishing Tribe, a Swedish development house RIM acquired back in December 2010.

As you can see in the video after the break, Scrapbook makes it easy to throw together (almost literally) fun photo collages on the PlayBook which you can then share with your friends. Scrapbook also lets you add cartoony speech, thought balloons and other stick-on elements to your creations, and it sure looks like a lot of fun to use.
